There are no words to describe how much we are obsessed with Sugarbabies! We got married in Nantucket which required a lot of logistics and they made it so easy for us. More importantly, their performance was INCREDIBLE - people cannot stop talking about it. Definitely set the tone for our entire wedding. We cannot say enough nice things about the management, the band lead (Lyle) and all of the musicians. Truly unmatched!
Hands down, THE BEST WEDDING BAND! I first saw The Sugarbabies perform at my best friend's wedding in the fall of 2019. They were ELECTRIC and had folks on the dance floor all night long. I was enamored and had to take their business card. Three years later and they were the first band I called when making arrangements for my own wedding at Castle Hill Inn in Newport Rhode Island. Every single person we dealt with - from management to the band members themselves - were so professional and organized. I cannot recommend them highly enough as a band and company. They are true professionals and the band is wildly talented. The band sets the town of your whole reception and The Sugarbabies absolutely killed it. Guests haven't stopped talking about their performance...we danced all night long!
W-O-W. WOW!!!! We've relived our wedding over and over the past week through photos and videos - every time, we end with the band and how it truly made it "the best day ever". The ceremony music and sound set-up was perfect. The MC through dinner was perfect. Once the dancefloor opened up, we never left 🙌 The band really emulated our energy - we felt like we were at our own rock show. Every piece of the band hit so hard! Shout out to Gigi, the Operations Manager, ran through the song list with us so intently - it very obviously made an impact on the entire set-list - hits on hits!! We are soooo grateful the band was open to learning a Queen song as well, it's really one of our favorite car jams/bar jams/party jams - while we were on the dancefloor the whole time, this brought the rest of our families and older guests back. We are so thankful for all they did to be a part of our big day, we cannot say enough good things!
In the two weeks since our wedding, every guest has reached out to ask about our incredible band. Sugarbabies was—by far—the best part of our wedding and worth every penny. They have extremely talented musicians and vocalists. They curate a set list to suit your taste and can adjust it in real time. And they get EVERYONE up and on the dance floor (even my 94-year-old grandma couldn't help herself). We opted for the 9-piece band, and wouldn't change a thing. Thank you, Sugarbabies!
To be honest, I picked out this band YEARS before I even dated my husband. I was working an event and was OBSESSED with how much fun they were having and how electric the environment they created was. Fast forward to 2022 and, while I'm sure the band members have all since changed, they were just as fun and electric as I remembered. I had guests coming up to me all night and the next day absolutely raving about how incredible they were and how it looked like they were having SO much fun. I think the dance floor was packed from the moment they started playing until it ended and when they did take a short break, I was honestly grateful because I needed to sit down for a minute but couldn't tear myself away from the dance floor.
Where do I begin? Them Apples Band IS the party. My husband and I got married on Block Island in June, which I’m sure you can imagine isn’t the easiest thing logistically. Jon and Gigi on the management side made the planning and coordinating so easy. They answered every question I had for ferries and lodging promptly and provided us with helpful resources to structure our music wants for the day. They really took the thinking out of the whole process. And then the band itself - sheesh! About every wedding guest came up to us at some point during the night and said it’s the best wedding band they have ever seen. Every song was played perfectly and with such energy. While they are obviously great musicians, they are also the most talented entertainers we’ve seen - engaging with the crowd in dance battles, dance circles and even allowing my husband and I to belt out the final song while crowd surfing the night away. All 7 members couldn’t have been nicer. Big shout out to Marlon, Matt, Jamil, Max, Eric, Chris and Alexis. Book them now!!
The Sugarbabies are the BEST BAND! Highly, highly recommend if you're getting married in the Boston area! They are so high energy, fun, and amazing musicians! Their presence and personality on stage was so fun. They were so communicative and easily reachable. Their song selection was fantastic! They also played our ceremony music and cocktail hour music which was incredible. They had the dance floor going all night 🙂 10/10 recommend!!!!
Not that this band needs another 5 star review, but they were AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, PERFECT! This is your band if you are getting married in the Boston area. Guests have commented that they felt like they were at a concert. As the bride and groom, we did not leave the dance floor and had an absolute blast. Our planning process was a breeze and they were able to accommodate some different requests on our end (multiple dance sets, a friend stepping in to play on drums). Jon recommend some songs for our final two and they were a HUGE hit. Can’t recommend them enough!
We hired the Nate Bash Band for a summer wedding in Vermont. They were absolutely amazing! Jon Behar was incredibly helpful in figuring out how many band members we wanted, as well as matching the feel/aesthetic/mood we were going for. He was very responsive as we had many questions along the way, and some off the wall requests (some of which ended up being too difficult to pull off, but Jon entertained the ideas nonetheless) We also loved how flexible the band was on playing the songs we wanted to hear in the order we thought was best, and they had helpful suggestions on which songs were best played by them vs DJd while they took a break. Finally, their actual performance was absolutely top-notch. They had super high energy from start to finish, and all the guests raved about how amazing they were during and after the reception. I'll also note that they didn't have a ton of room, as our reception was in a small barn, but they did a great job not allowing that to hinder their performance. Also, for what it’s worth, the saxophonist was unbelievable!
I wanted to express my appreciation to the Nate Bash Band for the fantastic job they did at our daughter's wedding recently. Not only did they play the ceremony music and lovely jazz for the cocktail hour, but they got the crowd moving and never stopped once they got going with the dance music. We have heard from all of our guests about how incredible the band was, what high energy they had and how much fun it was to dance all night! The ages on the dance floor ranged from young people in their 20s to the elders in their mid-80s - somehow the band managed to cover all the bases for this wide age range I saw people on the dance floor that normally sit on the sidelines - that's how compelling the band's energy and enthusiasm was! My only complaint was that they barely took a break - I was exhausted (BUT HAPPY!) At one point, the female vocalist took a spill off the edge of the stage - she got up and never missed a beat - just kept right on singing. Talk about a stellar performer! WOW! There is no question but that the band was instrumental (no pun intended) in ensuring that our daughter had the wedding of her dreams. It was a fabulous party and an wonderful evening thanks to this amazing band!!
We wish we could give them more than 5 stars! We found Them Apples by chance when we saw them performing at our venue during a visit years before our wedding. At the time, we didn't even know where we would be getting married but we knew we had to remember the name of this band because they sounded incredible. Several years later, we are happy to say they were just as incredible, if not better, for our wedding. Our guests from all different age brackets raved about them across the board. Some even said it was like attending a concert. Our ceremony music was perfect, as were all of the songs we selected for formal dances. The band's energy and enthusiasm were infectious, as the lead singer came out onto the dance floor to sing and dance with our guests. We really can't emphasize enough how impressed we and our guests were by this fabulous band. They were organized, professional, and so talented, and made our reception a night to remember. We have been to many weddings and always comment on how the quality of a band can really make or break the wedding overall, so finding the right band for our wedding was really important to us, and we are so glad that we can definitively say we did! During our planning, Jon and Alain were a pleasure to work with, using easy Google Doc forms for us to fill out and share before a phone call to finalize plans. They were able to deliver on every request we made and give us exactly what we wanted. We can only hope we are lucky enough to attend another event played by Them Apples in the future!
BEST DECISION EVER!! We worked with the "Funsauce" band/DJ hybrid. Jon was very responsive and helpful with whatever questions we had. They were able to play pretty much just about any song that we wanted. The singers were absolutely amazing. This band brought so much energy to our wedding and was super flexible with any last minute changes that I had made. I was extremely impressed. Every single one of our guests were dancing all night, which is exactly how I pictured and hoped our wedding would go. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to work with them! Thank you!!!!
The absolute best decision we made for our wedding was to hire Sugarbabies Inc! We saw all 3 bands at a showcase and decided Nate Bash was the band for us and they blew us away! We had such high expectations and to say they exceeded them is an understatement. We wanted our guests dancing all night and that is exactly what we got. Our guests are still raving about the band almost a month later.
